The church and the world need to hear your stories! What are your hopes and dreams for the church regarding LGBT persons? Where do you see God at work in your ministry among LGBT people? If you are a clergy person who performs same-sex weddings, why do you do so? What is your story of "coming out" or changing your theology?
We also welcome thoughtful articles on LGBT theology, Biblical interpretation, LGBT history, or UMC church policies. You may also comment on current events or write reviews of new books and resources. We encourage submissions by a diverse array of clergy and laity in Eastern PA and beyond.
You can participate in two ways. 1. Submit an article of 500 to 1000 words. (More or less is possible). Articles are subject to editorial revision with your approval. 2. Agree to a recorded interview of 10-20 minutes in length. Interviews may be conducted in person or via Skype, and will be published as podcasts.
