The 2016 Philly Pride Parade and Festival will be held on Sunday, June 12. Reconciling United Methodists have been a pastoral presence and prophetic witness at this event for decades. All reconciling United Methodists and friends in the Eastern PA conference are invited to gather at Arch Street United Methodist Church (55 North Broad Street) at 10 am for a short worship service and continental breakfast. We will then process to the parade site near 13th and Locust. The parade begins at 1130 am. Dress comfortably and wear your walking shoes! Be sure to bring signs to identify your church and wear crosses, stoles, or other insignia that mark you as United Methodists. More details will be posted here as they are made available.

Testimonials: "The moving part for me is the overwhelming response from the viewers and participants who are so surprised to see us in the parade and yet so grateful we are. The tradition of singing "Jesus Loves Me" at the judges stand always makes me tear up. I'm so grateful that the number of religious groups in the parade increases every year." --Rev. Herb Snyder
