How to Get Involved...

There are several ways to get involved with the work of Reconciling United Methodists of Eastern Pennsylvania. Please consider joining one of our action teams! Send an email to David Krueger for more information. 

Strategic Team: Contact Dave Krueger
  • Provides oversight to the overall direction of the movement
  • ​Coordinates efforts for Annual Conference
Congregational Outreach and Support Team: Contact Rev. Laurie Ann Rookard
  • Helps congregations navigate the discernment process regarding becoming a reconciling congregation 
  • Assists current reconciling congregations in reaching out to LGBT persons throughout eastern Pennsylvania. 
Special Events Team: Contact Ariel Gonzalez
  • ​Coordinates efforts for special community outreach events such as the Philly Trans Health Conference, Philly Pride, and Philly Out Fest.
Pastoral Care Team
  • Provide spiritual support to reconciling members and friends
Public Advocacy Team
  • Coordinate with local, state, national, and international efforts to seek justice for LGBT persons
Communications Team
  • Coordinate our efforts to spread our message of God's love and inclusion through our website, social media tools, and mailing list.
